Nov 6 2009 ScrumU Meeting Notes

Attendees:
Lori Sundal - Georgia Tech
Tracy Weber - Notre Dame

Updates:
Georgia Tech - Completed first sprint, end user seems happy, going well! In progress with Sprint 2. Team space being used between 10am-3pm, did a modified schedule so could deal with Production issues before and after Scrum time. One challenge, team members preferring to work in own offices. Also have team members who telecommute which they're figuring out how to accomodate. Some dependencies ID'd during first sprint, good learning. Team requested large whiteboard, clock, pig coasters - engraved.

Notre Dame - Now have 2 projects actively scrumming, one more starting up next week. New one involves 2 3rd party vendors, which will be an interesting dynamic as far as how to include them in the team. "ScrumND" group formed for group that went through Scrum training - to share experiences, support each other as starting up with Scrum projects.

Noted that will be interesting to see what folks who went to Educause come back with - we heard there was a session on Scrum.
