**ScrumU Meeting** All Institutions are encouraged to attend - experienced and new to Scrum!!Submitted by kristine.shannon on Tue, 07/28/2009 - 5:02pm |
If you are interested in learning more about Scrum and how to implement it at your institution or if you would like to improve on your implementation of Scrum, please plan to join us in our first of hopefully many all-inclusive ScrumU gathering.
We will meet virtually via audio conference in a "daily" format.
For those entirely new to Scrum, the "daily" format consists of each team member (in this case, each institution) answering three questions:
1. What have you done since the last ScrumU meeting regarding implementing Scrum at your institution?
2. What will you do between now and the next ScrumU meeting?
3. What impedes you from performing your implementation as effectively as possible?
The amount of time allotted for each institution will depend on the number of schools interested in participating. Since this will be our first meeting together, we would ask that all schools do plan to present their current status as an introduction. In future meetings, for those schools still new who may not make significant progress between meetings, we will offer an option to listen only.
This inaugural all-inclusive ScrumU meeting will be held:
Friday, August 14, 2009
1:30 - 2:30pm, EST
Please RSVP to giannekm@wfu.edu by 5pm EST, Monday, August 10
Include:
1. Institution name
2. A contact name of who will answer the questions above on behalf of your institution.
Upon receiving your RSVP, I will provide you with the dial-in information.
Once I've received everyone's RSVP, I will compile and share the agenda and the estimates for how long each institution will have to present.
We are looking forward to gathering everyone together!!
